Autism Aptitude’s Class Module 1: Finding Your Joy

Welcome to Autism Aptitude’s online module!  My inspiration to begin this series of online modules is to create a more empathic approach to understanding autism.  As a mom of a child with autism, a school administrator who has seen it all, and an advocate for all abilities, I feel called to share my learning with you.  You may be a parent, a sibling, a grandparent, a teacher, a friend, or anyone who knows and loves someone on the autism spectrum.

You and I do not need to have all the answers.  Instead, we do need to have the capacity and heart strength to empathize.  We also need to take care of ourselves because otherwise, we undermine the intense, beautiful work of our journeys.

So, here I thank you for taking the first step in joining me in creating a more empathic approach to understanding autism.  I’m here with you every step of the way.
